One Touch Electric Can Openers Instructions
1. Place your can on a stable surface
2. Place the opener on top of the can with the can rim between the gear and the blade. (Note: The cutter will not operate unless it is positioned correctly on the rim of the can.)
3. Press and hold the black start button for 4 seconds and let go of the opener, it will open the can and stop when finished.
4. Some cans, especially larger cans, require step 4 to be performed 2 or 3 times. If the opener syops before the can is opened, you will need to rotate the can opener backwards about 1,3cm before repeating step 4. Repeat step 4 as many times as necessary to open the can.
5. When finished, lift the opener off the can. Carefully remove the lid from the magnet and discard.(Note: The cut edge of the can may be sharp and should be treoted with care)
BATTERY INSTALLATION
To install (and remove) 2AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment (according to the polarity (+/-) instruction) slide back the bottom cover by holding the unit with bottom facing up and the narrow end toward you. Place each thumb on each side of magnet and pull toward you. The battery cover will snap off for easy removal. Replace the bottom cover after the batteries have been installed. Nevwe mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types.
Note: the opener will automatically stop after 25s operating.
CAUTION
Read all instructions carefully before using your Can Opener.
Can Opener is not included to be used by children.
DO NOT open pressurized (aerosol type) cans.
DO NOT open cans of flammable liquids such as lighter fluids.
Make sure the motor has stopped completely before taking off the bottom cover for battery replacement.
During battery replacement DO NOT press the switches in the bottom or the button on the top of the Can Opener, to avoid turning the unit on.
Before cleaning the cutter, remove batteries to avoid accidentally turning the unit on.
Keep fingers away from cutter all at all times.
Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair jewelry, clothing, eta. away from moving parts during operation to prevent injury and/or damage to the Can Opener,
To maintain the Can Opener at its optimal condition, DO NOT immerse it in water or ant other liquids
